Sports in the wild

Ichkeul cave is part of the Ichkeul Nature Park, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. It is one of many caves that exist in Tunisia.

In Tunisia’s natural sites, every kind of sports challenge can be found: kite-surfing on a Djerba lagoon, rally in the Grand South, zip-lining, and pendulum jump in mountainous sites.

Golf courses exploit the variety of landscapes: green lawns, lagoons, olive and orange orchards, palm groves, sand dunes… and the sea is almost always present.

A zest of culture

The Carthage classical theatre is a place where prestigious spectacles are often put on, for example Verdi’s opera Aїda. The amphitheatre in El Jem, and the classical theatre in Dougga, welcome concert-goers at musical events.

Eclectic, open, Tunisia also makes its mark on the world map of street art, with Djerbahood village. From an electro concert to a Sufi music show, there are countless opportunities for an original event.

If you wish to give your events a cultural dimension, a number of Tunisian musical groups perform both traditional music and the lyrical arts.

At the heart of tradition

The village of Takrouna is built on the peak of a craggy outcrop. Time seems to have stopped here in this Amazigh village that looks out over a vast plain.

Equally unfamiliar is the great Saharan city of Tozeur.

From one town to the next, you can admire traditions that are still alive, like gold- and silk-weaving in Mahdia, or the making of olive oil in the Sfax area.
