Motorways
Tunisia has 743 km. of motorway, and by 2035 this will be over 1,200 km.

The motorway network :
- The A1 motorway: 571 km. long, it links Tunis to the Libyan border in the south-east, passing through Sousse, Sfax, Gabѐs, and Médenine (near Djerba).
- The A3 motorway: with a total length of 200 km., it will finally link Tunis to the Algerian border in the west; the Tunis-Bou Salem stretch (121 km.) is already operational.
- The A4 motorway: 51 km. long, it links Tunis to Bizerta in the north.
- The A2 motorway will branch off the A1 towards the south-west, passing through Kairouan, Jelma (near the Sbeїtla archaeological site), Sidi Bouzid and Gafsa with another branch going towards Kasserine. A first stretch of 186 km. is currently being built.

Tunisia has 9 international airports, with an overall capacity of nearly 20 million travellers a year, 5 million of whom use the Tunis-Carthage airport alone, served by over twenty international air companies.
International airports:
Tunis-Carthage, Monastir-Habib Bourguiba, Enfidha-Hammamet, Tabarka-Aїn Draham, Sfax-Thyna, Djerba-Zarzis, Tozeur-Nefta, Gafsa-Ksar and Gabѐs-Matmata.
